Welcome to Biya. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our mobile application and services (collectively, the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
To use Biya, you must meet all of the following conditions:

Simply being a Muslim is not sufficient to use the app. You must also have Bangladeshi or Bengali heritage and live in the UK.
Biya is intended exclusively for Muslims from Bangladeshi and Bengali backgrounds who are seriously seeking marriage.
To access most features, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
By creating a profile for someone else, you confirm you have their informed consent and take full responsibility for the content. Biya is not responsible for unauthorized accounts/profiles.
Biya uses Didit, a trusted third-party identity verification provider, to keep the platform safe and authentic. Verification is required at sign-up and when unlocking full profiles.
When you create an account, Didit performs two checks before your profile is activated: a Liveness Check (a real-time camera check confirming you are a live person; no biometric data is stored by Biya) and an IP Address Check (to detect high-risk or fraudulent activity; processed by Didit and not stored by Biya beyond what is necessary). Following successful verification, you will be invited to complete your profile.
To unlock full profiles and subscribe, you must complete one of the following identity verification options:
Verification is mandatory. By proceeding, you consent to your data being processed by Didit in accordance with their Privacy Policy. Biya only controls the verified status outcome.

Only Matchmakers may use the app commercially. All other users are prohibited from offering services or charging fees. Matchmakers are not verified ⚠ engage with caution.
We do not conduct background checks. You are responsible for your interactions. Report misuse via in-app support.
All content, branding, and features belong to Biya or its licensors. You may not reuse or redistribute them without permission.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may also close your account anytime through settings.
Account Deletion: You can delete your profile and account directly within the App at any time via your account settings. Upon confirmation, your personal data will be permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems. This constitutes your exercise of the right to erasure under UK GDPR (Article 17).
Automated Deletion: If an account is not accessed within 30 minutes of the initial session during sign-up or re-authentication, all associated personal data will be automatically and permanently deleted from our systems. You will not be able to recover this data once removed. This process is designed to protect your privacy in accordance with the data minimisation principles of UK GDPR (Article 5(1)(c)).
We do not guarantee successful matches or marriages. Use of the app is at your own risk.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from use of the app.
These Terms are governed by UK law. Disputes will be resolved in courts within [UK Jurisdiction].
These Terms may change. We'll notify you via the app or email. Continued use confirms your acceptance.
